The Spokane Braves hung on to defeat the Summerland Steam last night in Summerland. The Braves took a commanding 4-1 lead into the 3rd period, but the feisty Steam fought back in the final period scoring 4 times with 1 even strength, 2 powerplayer, and a shorthanded goal. In the end, it wasnt enough as the Braves won 6-5. Offensively, the Braves were lead by Brycen Fisher (3A), Uriah Machuga (1G,2A), and Matt Thurston (2G), with Mitch Fowler, Nick Redding and Nick Farmer each scoring once. Nathan Carter, Zak Kroll, Gil Givens, and Sean Collins each had assists. Braves netminder Brandon Amanto stopped 26 of 31 on the night. The Braves are back in action in Osoyos on Satuday November 12th. Game time is 7:35PM
