Spokane Braves add new assistant coach

The Spokane Braves are excited to welcome Zack Maxwell as our new Assistant Coach.

During his junior career, Zack played in the Northern Pacific Hockey League (NPHL) with the Coeur D’Alene Lakers and Helena Bighorns. He was a four-time NPHL champion and team captain for the Helena Bighorns. In his overage season, Zack was named the Best Defenseman and Most Valuable Player in the NPHL before leading his team to a USA Hockey Junior A National Championship.

Following his junior career, Zack played for the University of Wisconsin-Superior (NCAA Division III) before transferring to Eastern Washington University (BCIHL). Zack will be responsible for defensive skills and video coaching.

Zack is replacing Ben Nelson who elected to step away from the team for personal reasons. Welcome to the team Zack!
