The Spokane Braves are back!

The team that “Puts the I in KI” is back for its 50th season in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL). The Spokane Braves were not allowed to participate in the KIJHL last season due to the US/Canada border closure. With the expectation that the border will open up in time for the 21/22 season, we have been welcomed back into the KIJHL.

The 2021/2022 season will feature 42 games with zero crossover games with the Okanagan/Shuswap Conference. The season will begin on Friday, October 1, the season schedule will be released at a later date.

Our prospect camp will be held June 25-27th at Frontier Ice Arena in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho. This camp is open for the 2001-2007 birth years. You can sign up for our prospect camp at http://camp.spokanebraves.com.

We look forward to seeing our fans back at Eagles Ice Arena for our 50th season in the KIJHL.
